The Manchester Beer & Cider Festival has an emotional attachment to Tweed. It was the first beer festival we were featured at in just our second month of being a brewery. For many this was their first chance to try our brews and for us, a chance to meet other brewers and bar managers.
This year there are two pretty big changes to this CAMRA (campaign for real ale) run festival: 1) It's not at the Velodrome but rather Manchester Central. (2) There's a key-keg bar! It's great to see CAMRA moving with the times and introducing key-keg conditioned beers to their festival.
Tweed will be there with two beers; our pineapple-infused pale ale Hopster and our Black Shire Stout. We'll be at the trade session tomorrow (Wednesday) and also at the Friday evening session, so come and find us, have a beer and tweet #MBCF16.
You can find all information, tickets and a full beer list on their website.
